Designing a Professional Qualifications Model for Art Teachers Case Study: (Middle and High Schools in Fars Province)

Abstract

Introduction: The purpose of this study was to design a model of professional qualifications of art teachers in Fars province. For this purpose, qualitative research (basic theory) was used.
research methodology: The statistical population included all middle and high school art teachers in Fars province. Data collection began with a semi-structured interview and finally, using purposive sampling method and based on the principle of interview saturation, 20 people were selected as a sample. The validity and reliability of the research instrument were calculated using Cronbach's alpha test. Pearson correlation coefficient, independent t-test, two-way analysis of variance and Tukey post hoc test were used for statistical analysis.
Findings: The results showed that the professional competence of managers and women were equal and in other variables, the use of educational technologies by men was higher than women. The findings also showed that there was no relationship between professional competence and history. LISREL 8.80 and SPSS 23 software were used to analyze the data.
Conclusion: The results of this study presented the model of professional competence of art teachers in Fars province and describes the dimensions of these competencies and special items of each in detail and can improve the quality of art education in schools. Be effective. The achievements of this research will help to identify the decision-making options of organizing in terms of appropriate strategies in the implementation department.
