The Entrepreneurial University Model Emphasizing Islamic Azad University Using Grounded Theory

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to present a model of entrepreneurship university with emphasis on Islamic Azad University with a qualitative approach using Grounded Theory (Systematic Design). In this design the categories are extracted in different ways and placed in a conceptual-theoretical format. Participants in this study were based on theoretical saturation principle and consisted of 20 experts and experts available in the field of Entrepreneurship University who were selected by purposeful and theoretical sampling. Data collection tools are semi-structured interviews. Data were analyzed using MAXQDA software in three stages of open, axial and selective coding. Validation of data was done by participant verification method. According to the research findings, dimensions and factors affecting Islamic Azad University of Entrepreneur in 6 categories including Entrepreneur University dimension with educational system sub-components, research system, creativity and innovation and income sources, causal conditions with academic leadership and management sub-components, Internationalization and organizational culture, then contextual conditions with sub-components of legal frameworks, relationship with industry, interaction with peripheral environment and economic issues, later factors interfering with sub-components of reward system and university position, then strategies with sub-components Human Resource Management, Innovation and Financing Infrastructure and Dynamic Dimension Modes and results were identified by sub-components of dynamics and adaptability, performance improvement, human capital and socio-economic development.
