The mean of student traditional family tendencies was more than modern ones. The mean scores of male students in music and leisure time were higher than the female students. However, female students scored higher on modern family tendencies. Also, place of study, and ethnicity were significantly correlated with some of the students' cultural tendencies. The findings showed that modern cultural tendencies in students are not superior to traditional tendencies, but there is between gender differences in cultural tendencies. Based on the results, it was suggested that higher education administrators put the impact of students' cultural vitality and richness on their agenda more than before.
