Presenting the Model of Reducing the Job Fatigue of Primary School Teachers based on the Grounded Theory

Abstract

Introduction: The current research was conducted with the aim of presenting a model of reducing the job fatigue of primary school teachers based on the Grounded theory (Autmn of 2023).

research methodology: The approach of the current research was qualitative and the data collection tool was a semi-structured interview. The sample size up to theoretical saturation was 16 school teachers in Izeh city who were selected as a sample in a purposeful way. The software used in this research was MAXQDA-2020 qualitative software. The approach used was based on the data theory of Strauss and Corbin (1990).

Findings: The findings showed that the model for reducing primary school teachers' job fatigue in the element of causal conditions has 4 psychological, behavioral, organizational and demographic core codes; In the background conditions element, there are 5 organizational, psychological, environmental, behavioral and cultural core codes; In the element of intervention conditions, there are 3 core codes of organization, behavior and health, in line with which 5 categories of strategies are used by teachers in the form of management, health and cultural strategies, which will result in psychological, educational and managerial consequences.

Conclusion: It seems that the attention of education professionals to the indicators identified in this research can be useful in order to improve the efficiency of teachers.
