Abstract

Introduction: An overview of art history shows that there are different approaches in art education and each philosophical school has paid attention to what and how artistic education is based on their ontological, epistemological and especially their axiological bases. this research will be an attempt to pursue artistic education based on one of the approaches of Islamic philosophy, first for macro education planners, and in the field of teachers and education executives.
research methodology: The paradigm of this research is the qualitative and research design is nonemergent. the method of research is  relative content analysis that was studied by purposive sampling. the method of collecting data is documentary. categories have been extracted through constant comparative method.
Findings: Accordingly, this research is an attempt to analyze and understand art education based on Iranian philosophy and extracting its implications in education, especially in educational planning and educational adminstration.
Conclusion: The method of applying these arts in education depends on the requirements of learners, such as age, gender and purpose of education. Planning is done in different dimensions of goals, content and method.
