Designing and Presenting a suitable model for the improvement of school management quality in primary schools

Abstract

Introduction: This study aimed to provide a suitable model for the improvement of school management quality in primary schools of Zanjan province.
research methodology: This study was performed using a mixed method of explorative plan-tool development model. Data collection sources in the qualitative part of the research included semi-structured interviewing 23 people, notes, public and private documents that were converted to textual data and the text was then coded using the content analysis technique. based on the results of the qualitative section, the measuring tools designed in the form of a 107-question questionnaire  based on the identified components. Its face and content validity were confirmed by experts and finally the reliability coefficient was (0.93).
Findings: analysis of structural equation modeling was used for testing mentioned scale. The statistical population of the study in the quantitative section were all experts, educational leaders and principals of elementary schools in Zanjan province (1079 people). In addition, 120 documents obtained from scientific texts were recorded and used. purposive sampling method was used in the qualitative part of the study whereas in the quantitative section according to the (sample size of 283 people) data were collected by cluster sampling method from different cities and regions of the province.The results of the qualitative section showed that the model of school management quality improvement has 8 factors, 26 criteria and 107 indicators. Amos software was used for quantitative data analysis
Conclusion: The result of statistical tests displayed that the designed model enjoys very favorable fitness for the improvement of school management quality in primary schools of Zanjan province.
