Abstract

The purpose of this study was Training Needs Assessment of environmental education for parents of hyperactive children in the cognitive fild and offering training courses. The method of research is descriptive-correlation. Kaufman inductive model was used to assess educational needs. The study population included all parents of hyperactive children referred to Imam Reza and Hafizhospitals in 95 year with a capacity of 140 people was formed. Sampling method was available and according tokeregci-Morgan table, 103 parents were selected. For date collected used a self-made questionnaire with 20 item. Validity of tools confirmed by educational scienses and psychology and reliability of tools by Cronbach's alpha coefficient was 0/91. Data collected by the Software spss.vs.22, Mean, standard deviation and Man Whitney U and Spirmantests were analyzed.The results showed that parents most need to be familiar with the hazards of smoking, tobacco or drugs in place of the child's life (1/06 ±1/83) and the least need to know to choose the right school and the education of children hyperactive have (0/75 ± 0/47). Also the results showed that between the educational needs of parents and their literacy level, there is no significant relationship and statistically there is no significant difference, from environmental education needs, between the parents, of hyperactive girl, and parents of hyperactive boy. According to the identified needs and perceived need for training courses, planning needs to be done in this area.
