This descriptive-correlational study aimed to examine the relationship between students’ psychological empowerment and their knowledge sharing behaviors with regard to the role of attitude to knowledge sharing as a mediator variable. The research instrument was a questionnaire. The study’s respondents were a random sample (n=214) of full-time doctoral students of Shiraz University in the academic year of 91-92. Data of 214 questionnaires returned was analyzed using structural equation modeling (SEM) and Path analysis. The findings of the study indicated that there was a significant relation between psychological empowerment and both knowledge sharing behaviors and the attitudes to knowledge sharing among Shiraz University doctoral students.
