The aim fo This study was to provide a framework for assessing workplace spirituality in higher education. In this regard, by adopting a mixed method and using the sequential exploratory study, selective texts with the aim of extracting the sources of spirituality in ancient Iranian culture as well as Islamic teachings were studied. Finally, a researcher-made questionnaire was developed and validated in quantitative part.The sampling method was purposeful at the qualitative section with the approach of key people and achieved theoretical saturation and was available in a quantitative part. Instrument in in the qualitative section included texts relating to research concepts like Quran, Nahjolbalagheh and famous religious books and Avesta religious books and interviews with knowlegable people such as university professors of Quran sciences and the prophet's sayings, Islamic texts, Archeology, history, management, Avesta and Zoroastrian specialists and in quantitative section include all professors of Azad and state university of Fars province. Sampling was theoretical in qualitative section and purposeful (judgment) in quantitative section. Then, 184 questionnaires were collected and analyzed by using SPSS and LISREL softwares and descriptive statistics and Confirmatory factor analysis. Validity of the questionnaire was achieved by Cronbach's alpha which was 0.866. Then, Research causal model was evaluated and fitness of the model was confirmed. Finally, the framework includes individual aspects (acting pious, meaning-seeking, work ethic), interpersonal (tolerance, self-esteem, social status, interact with subordinates, service) and Transpersonal (obedience to superiors, meritocracy, job commitment)
