The purpose of this paper is to investigate the impact of emotional intelligence (EI) on work outcomes (employees' job satisfaction and job performance) at higher education institutions. Research method in this paper is a descriptive correlation type, and this study adopted a survey research design in which the researchers used tree questionnaires to collect data from the respondents. The 285 administrative employees were selected by stratified sampling and simple random regard to gender, employment status, work experience and education level and were asked to complete the questionnaire. The tools used to collect research data included emotional and behavioral intelligence scale (EIBS), Tomczak (2010), job satisfaction questionnaire Schjoedt(2002) and job performance questionnaire of Thomas and Ruio (1997). The collected data were analyzed through the mean and standard deviation, sample t-test and Pearson correlation coefficient, Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) using SPSS 16 AND LISREL 8.54. were used to response the research questions. The results of the study indicated that emotional intelligence was the positive and significant predictor of employees' job satisfaction and job performance.
