This study primarily aimed to investigate the relationship between personality traits and mental health of elementary school teachers with organizational climate in district one of Shiraz. The target sampling frame of this descriptive-correlational study was all teachers in the district (301 men and 1119 women). Random stratified sampling strategy was employed to select a sample of 210 women and 100 men with a reference to Morgan's table. The data of the study came from three questioners, that is, Eysenck personality questionnaire, Goldberg mental health questionnaire, Halpin and Crafts organizational climate questionnaire. In order to analyze the data, a use was made of Pearson product moment correlation, t-test and multiple regression. The results of the study revealed that there was no significant relationship between personality traits (extroversion and introversion) and neither organizational climate nor mental health components. It was also indicated that there was a significant relationship between mental health components and the organizational climate of schools. Additionally, a significant difference was found between male and female teachers in terms of personality traits.
