Introduction and purpose: The purpose of this research was to explain the relationship between quantum management and job performance and the mediating role of organizational commitment among the employees of Islamic Azad University, Kerman branch.
Research Methodology: The research method was applied in terms of the objective and descriptive in terms of the method of data collection, of the correlation type and of the hardness equations type. The statistical population of all the employees of the Islamic Azad University of Kerman branch was 687 people, using simple random sampling method. 248 people were selected as samples. Morgan's table was used to estimate the sample size. The research data collection tool was Azimi's quantum management questionnaire (2013), Patterson's job performance (1990) and Allen and Mir's (1990) organizational commitment. In order to analyze the data, structural equation modeling was used using SPSS and AMOS software.
Findings: The results showed that the correlation between the variables of quantum skill and organizational commitment 0.715, quantum management and job performance 0.817, organizational commitment and job performance 0.733 is significant at p<0.01 level. Also, the findings related to the significance test of the indirect effect and the mediating role of organizational commitment showed that the mediating contribution of the organizational commitment variable in the relationship between quantum management and job performance is significant.
Discussion and conclusion: According to the statistical findings, the variable of organizational commitment significantly mediates the relationship between quantum management and job performance, so managers and respected employees of organizations should pay special attention to this concept.
